so how many of you got to sit through last nights tortoreous two hour meltdown of talent? For the most part it was entertaining. Then came on the hand whistling older lady pushing her walker and these guys said she was going on to the next round. Then came out the older lady with the two furry small caterpillars over each eye and she goes over 90 seconds by 10 minutes and Peierce even walks off and Howie and Sharon send her through to the next round also.My question is why? What could possibly come from sending them through?Noone is going to sit and listen to someone whistle through their hands for thirty minutes much less pay money to see and hear it.The other woman couldn't carry a tune in a bucket and wasn't entertaining except to drunks and dopeheads who would be stoned out of their cord.Noone would pay actual money to see this act either. If you haven't seen these acts please refrain from commenting.I am trying to say that these two spots could have been given to people with actual crowd drawing talent that folks would pay to go see. Then there are the children, why would any parent let their child try out for a spot in las vegas much less to be responsible for entertaining adults for thirty minutes at least every night? Why would they even consider letting children try out?It doesn't make sense to me because for one las vegas is known for really wild happenings and a very real bad element to the point that some say what happens in vegas stays in vegas. Also there are legit news crews that have done countless shows on human trafficking that has some as S-- slaves and they have found that there is an underground holding arena that goes on for miles directly under the vegas strip. Now knowing this would you let your child open and close a show on the vegas strip every night?Again please refrain from commenting if you haven't seen this show? What about all the sad stories,I mean come on now,you want me to believe that noone that is on that show has anything to be grateful for?I mean put a smile on your face for crying out loud.Come out smiling and giving thanks for being alive at least. These folks this year all seem to have the same sad sad story about being from the streets, which if they were to be hooked up to a lie detector,it would no doubt be going haywire.I'm tired of all this crying and playing on peoples sympathy. It is supposed to be entertaining so entertain. What are your thoughts on the show so far this year?gbu all

`ok update on this show.Last nights show which aired on 7/7/10 was an elimination round also in vegas.Again I was terribly disturbed by a couple of choices they made. One was a group of veterans that had come together after being homeless for so long and they have talent but apparently a trip tp vegas was all the good old judges were good for.How terrible is that/?It made my heart sick to see them dismiss those folks that gave everything for these judges to be able to sit on a panel and pass judgement. What makes it even worse is the fact that two of the judges aren't even american or weren't borne here.Instead they pass on to the next round two sisters who have some rare disease but yet one of them can't even sing.It is utter nonsense imo and this show really isn't about talent apparently but about brown nosing and trying to get people to be in anothers debt. Those veterans deserve to go through and imo peirce and sharon can pass judgement on each other. Also they let go on to the next round three guys who weren't even playing any instruments but like alot of teenagers did, they pretended to be playing instruments, how sad was that? There is something seriously wrong with this show this season and I believe peirce needs to leave because of the way he has been so depressing with his x'ing so many out. They didn't let go through a young man from myrtle beach sc that was very entertaining and could no doubt keep folks entertained for 30 minutes every night easily imo.Imo I seriously don't believe they are actually looking for talented people,I haven't figured out what their doing yet but trust me I will gather some more info and will form an opinion soon lol.gbu all

`ok so last nights show(7/14/10) I couldn't even watch so I watched criminal minds instead which is a better show imo.I mean even with the people getting to vote now,it seems like to little to late imo.Sorry to say it and even feel sorrier for feeling like this about it but it is a shambles of sorts imo.I do hope they can salvage some thread of showmanship and fairplay but I'm not willing to bet that they will.GBU

`ok peeps as of last tuesday we have 4 finalists.Among them is a little girl who's name is Jackie and this girl is exceptional in her singing ability.I am talking off the charts. When I first saw and heard her sing I was like no way is that voice coming from that little body.So I listened the second time and I started thinking she must be lipsinging but Howie got wind of our speculation on twitter and declared that it was really her singing.I keep thinking if that voice is coming from her then she is an angel straight from the heavenly choir and I fear that when she wins this competition the angels will come collect her and take her back to the heavenly choir. Then there is prince poppycock whom you need to see. This guy is a real showman and he is an excellent singer. The makeup he sports makes him appear more European as does his wig which the british sported in their courts. He is a delight and the fact that he is gay as no bearing on his ability to entertain imo. Then there is this guy that rides a bike and if you haven't seen him do his thing yet then you are really missing some exciting entertainment. He actually got hurt during a practise run but came back and did it perfectly in the show. There is one other singer and I can't remember his name which should give no indication as to how he impressed me(or not) but it does bare witness to my short term memory lol.So in wrapping up I would like to say that it does appear that america's got talent has salvaged a thread of showmanship and I applaud them now.
